Wildlife Wonders I
When you think of Africa, you automatically think of the African Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. The excitement one feels when witnessing a male lion atop a rock, or a leopard stealthily sitting in a tree, that always remains. The gush of emotions one experiences each time is just as the very first.
This collection is a compilation of portraits and scenes from the lives of Africa’s big cats, that tries to convey their majesty, strength, beauty and charisma.
As we approached a marshland in the Ndutu region of the Serengeti in Tanzania one December afternoon, we saw a cheetah anxiously scanning her surroundings. Turns out the previous day some lions had discovered and ambushed her hiding place in the marsh and she lost one of her cubs to them. Since the lions were still lurking around, she was waiting for a chance to safely move her two remaining cubs to a new hiding place.
